### Workshop on 'Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder' Organized

**Udaipur, The Department of Psychiatry at Pacific Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) organized a one-day workshop on the topic of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) today. The workshop was inaugurated by PMCH Executive Director Aman Agarwal, Principal and Dean Dr. M.M. Mangal, and Head of the Psychiatry Department Dr. S.G. Mehta by lighting a lamp in front of the statue of Goddess Saraswati.

#### Workshop Highlights
The workshop covered in detail what ADHD is, its symptoms, causes, and treatments, as well as what precautions should be taken when dealing with this disorder.

#### Role of Medication and Psychotherapy
Dr. S.G. Mehta, Head of the Psychiatry Department, shed light on the role of medication and psychotherapy in treating children with ADHD. He emphasized that counseling for both children and their families can significantly aid in the treatment process.

#### Contribution of Specialists
Dr. Mehta highlighted the important contribution of pediatricians and neurologists in the treatment of ADHD.

#### Awareness Through Drama
A street play was performed by psychiatry and psychology residents, effectively portraying the seriousness of ADHD. This added a practical demonstration to the theoretical discussions, helping attendees better understand the disorder.

The workshop saw the participation of heads of all departments at PMCH, along with professors, associate professors, assistant professors, and PG residents.
