*Udaipur, – The Faculty of Science and Technology at Pacific University celebrated Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm on 5th September 2024. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, in which all dignitaries of the university participated. On this occasion, the university’s President, Prof. Hemant Kothari, addressed the students, encouraging them and providing insights into various courses available on online platforms. He emphasized the importance of leveraging online educational opportunities in today's digital age.
Prof. Dilendra Heeran, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, highlighted that Teachers' Day is a special occasion to honor the contributions and significant role that teachers play in society. He remarked that teachers are instrumental in shaping students' lives and guiding them on the path to success.
Additionally, the Dean of the Science Faculty, Prof. Rameshwar Ameta, shared his thoughts on the profound relationship between teachers and books. He noted that teachers illuminate students' lives with knowledge and shape their futures through the wisdom contained in books. Several students performed various presentations to mark the occasion.
The program was skillfully hosted by Prof. Ritu Khanna. Notable attendees included Dr. Akshat Singh Jhala and Dr. Raju Swami from the Engineering Faculty, Dr. Divya Shekhawat from the Computer Applications Faculty, and Dr. Paras Tak from the Basic Science and Technology Faculty.
Both teachers and students thoroughly enjoyed the event. Participants expressed their appreciation for the significance of Teachers' Day, acknowledging the pivotal role of educators, and relished the celebrations.
