Udaipur, : According to Hindu scriptures, the month of Sawan is highly revered by Lord Shiva. Devotees perform various rituals to please him during this period. Some observe fasts while others participate in the Kanwar Yatra to seek Lord Shiva's blessings. In this spirit, the Ratnagiri Development Committee and residents of Bhuwana are organizing a Kanwar Yatra on the first Monday of Sawan, July 22. The Kanwar Yatra will commence at 8:15 AM from Bawdi Wale Hanuman Temple, Bhuwana, and proceed to Shri Amarkh Mahadev, Amberi.

On this occasion, the Chairman of Pacific Medical College and Hospital, Rahul Agarwal, Executive Director Aman Agarwal, Mogilal Lohar, Shankar Sukhwal, Monu Sharma, and all the office bearers of the Ratnagiri Development Committee unveiled the poster for the Kanwar Yatra. In this Yatra, 1,100 Kanwariyas will carry water in their Kanwars from Bawdi Wale Hanuman Temple, Bhuwana to Shri Amarkh Mahadev, Amberi, and perform Jalabhishek on Lord Shiva.

During the poster unveiling, PMCH Chairman Rahul Agarwal mentioned that the tradition of Kanwar Yatra in Sawan has been ongoing since ancient times. It is believed that bringing Kanwar and performing Jalabhishek on the Shivaling in the month of Sawan pleases Lord Shiva, who then fulfills all the wishes of his devotees.

All the office bearers of the Ratnagiri Development Committee were present on this occasion.
