**Udaipur, Vidhi Sanadhya from Udaipur’s Sports Village made a remarkable impact at the 73rd State Level Senior Swimming Championship in Kota by winning a gold medal. Swimming coach Dr. Mahesh Paliwal informed that despite being a junior swimmer, Vidhi competed fiercely with senior swimmers. On the first day of the competition, she clocked 3:16.25 in the 200-meter breaststroke and secured the gold medal today with a time of 1:30.15 in the 100-meter breaststroke. Vidhi still has one more event to compete in.
In addition, Nikhil Jangid won a silver medal in the 50-meter freestyle, and bronze medals in both the 800-meter freestyle and 50-meter backstroke. Guntash Kaur secured a bronze medal in the 50-meter butterfly and also won bronze in the 4x200-meter freestyle relay.
The Sports Village was abuzz with joy over this achievement. Coaches Narpat Singh (boxing), Reena Purohit (yoga), Usha Acharj (basketball), Khemraj (tennis), Jitendra Singh (skating), Bhriguraj Singh (archery), Shahrukh (cricket), and Bhupendra Singh (gym) extended their congratulations to the athletes.
