Udaipur's shooters delivered an outstanding performance at the 0832 India Open Shooting Championship held at the Yash Hub Shooting Range in Goa. Among the 22 shooters from the BN Shooting Club who participated, six have qualified directly for the national competition in the 10-meter air rifle and pistol categories.

Dr. Jitendra Singh Chundawat, the club's coach and manager of the Rajasthan Shooting Team, reported that the championship, held from August 18 to 27, saw remarkable achievements.

- **Surendr Singh Devda** won the gold medal in the 10-meter air pistol deaf category. Despite being deaf and mute, Surendra scored 353/400, securing a national qualification and a personal gold medal. His dedication over the past two years was evident as he had also won a silver medal in the pre-national competition last year. Surendra trains at the BN Sports Shooting Academy in Udaipur.

- **Jyoti Chauhan** qualified in the 10-meter air pistol women's category.

- **Aditya Raj Singh Chauhan**, **Dheeraj Gurjar**, and **Daksh Raj Singh Shaktawat** qualified in the 10-meter air rifle men's category.
