### All Set for the 4th National Divyang Cricket Championship


Preparations are complete for the **4th National Physical Disability T-20 Cricket Championship**, jointly organized by **Narayan Seva Sansthan (NSS)** and the **Differently Abled Cricket Council (DCCI)**. The tournament, set to take place in **Udaipur** from **15th to 25th October**, will feature **400 differently-abled cricketers** from **24 states** and over **100 sports officials**. A total of **67 matches** will be played across five grounds in the city, with all matches in the T-20 format.

The inauguration ceremony will take place on **15th October at 11 AM**, with **Rajasthan’s Cabinet Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Avinash Gehlot**, presiding over the event at the **Field Club**. The event details were shared by **Devendra Choubisa**, Trustee and Director of Narayan Seva Sansthan, in a press briefing.

**Narayan Seva’s Ongoing Commitment to Divyang Sports:**  
Having organized multiple national-level events since 2017, the Sansthan continues its mission of empowering differently-abled individuals. The institution has previously hosted **National Para Swimming**, **National Blind Cricket**, **National Wheelchair Cricket Championships**, and the **Third National Disabled Cricket Championship**. Their successful organization of the **Wheelchair Cricket Championship** even earned recognition in the **Guinness Book of World Records**. This upcoming tournament is yet another step towards promoting the potential of differently-abled athletes and giving them a platform to shine.

**24 Teams to Compete:**  
Teams from **Rajasthan, Kerala, Delhi, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Baroda, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Mumbai, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Chandigarh, West Bengal, Vidarbha, Tamil Nadu,** and **Bihar** will participate.

**Five Grounds to Host Matches, Grand Opening and Closing at Field Club:**  
The **opening ceremony** will be held at **Field Club**, with the **closing ceremony** also scheduled at the same venue on **25th October** at 11 AM. During the closing ceremony, the winning team will be awarded the **Rolling Trophy**. Matches will be played across **Field Club, BN University Ground, Geetanjali Ground, Narayan Para Sports Academy, Dabok, and Karanpur Cricket Ground**. A total of **67 matches** will be held over 11 days, with **8 matches played daily**. The **semi-finals** are scheduled for **24th October**, and the **final match** will take place on **25th October**.

**International Standards and Special Features:**  
The championship will follow **international standards** with a **66-meter boundary** and a **22-yard pitch**. Matches will be played using **white leather balls**, and each game will have **three umpires** officiating. Special provisions are in place for **4 runners per team**, allowing players with mobility impairments to participate fully.

**Man of the Series to Win a Scooter:**  
The cricketer delivering the best performance throughout the tournament will be awarded the **Man of the Series** title, along with a scooter, further encouraging and celebrating their talent.

**Top Players Including World Cup Participants:**  
Notable players such as **Virat Keni** (India Team Captain), **Ravindra Sante** (Mumbai), **Gurudas Raut** (Vidarbha), **Tushar Roy** (Bengal), **Asit Jaiswal** (Gujarat), and **Wasim Iqbal** (Jammu & Kashmir) will be competing. Several of these players have previously represented India in the **Para World Cup Tournament**.

With all arrangements finalized, the city of Udaipur is ready to host this grand display of **differently-abled cricket talent**, with the support of over 100 volunteers and specialized facilities to ensure a smooth experience for all participants.
