3rd Advocate Premchand Mogra Memorial Winter Cup Rapid Open Chess Tournament from December 25

The 3rd Advocate Premchand Mogra Memorial Winter Cup Rapid Open Chess Tournament, hosted by CIL International School of Chess, will commence on December 25 at Arbit Resort, New Bhupalpura, R.K. Circle. Organizer Advocate Manish Mogra announced that the first round of the tournament will begin at 10:00 AM. Free lunch and accommodation will be provided for all participants by the organizers.

Total Prize Money ₹6.51 Lakh

The tournament will award cash prizes and trophies to the winners of the top three positions as well as participants securing the top 20 spots.

Special Prizes for Various Age and Rating Categories

Organizer Tushar Mehta shared that players excelling in different age categories—Under 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, and 15—will receive cash prizes and trophies. Additionally, winners in the FIDE rating category, unrated players, veterans, and the women’s category will also be honored with cash prizes and trophies.

Blitz Matches on the Second Day

According to organizer Rajeev Bhardwaj, Blitz matches will be held on the second day of the tournament. A total of 18 matches will be played in both the Rapid and Blitz formats.

This prestigious event will feature 243 prizes, making it a grand celebration for chess enthusiasts.
