### National Event Celebrates Mahavir International's Golden Jubilee

Mahavir International celebrated its golden jubilee with a grand national event at the Manekshaw Centre. Veer Samdaria Fateh Chand, Director of Media and Publicity, reported that the event was graced by the presence of the former President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, as the chief guest. In his address, Kovind emphasized the importance of organizations dedicated to humanitarian and social services, stating that such organizations remain unaffected by political, social, or religious circumstances and focus solely on human service, social work, and nation-building. He congratulated Mahavir International on its unique achievement of completing fifty years of service.

Impressed by the organization's service activities and structure, Kovind expressed his desire to join Mahavir International. International President Veer Anil Jain honored him with the organization's lapel pin, officially welcoming him as a member. The event also featured distinguished guests like Dr. Ashok Agarwal, President of the International Vaish Federation and Member of the Central Pollution Control Board, Government of India, and Dr. Balram Bhargava, former Director General of ICMR.

The Golden Jubilee celebrations commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony and prayer, followed by the presentation of a commemorative cake. The Mahavir International Virtual Center 'Misri' and the golden jubilee logo were also unveiled. International Secretary Veer Ashok Goel welcomed the guests, and International President Veer CA Anil Jain shared the program's theme and vision.

In the esteemed presence of former President Kovind, Dr. Ashok Agarwal, and Dr. Balram Bhargava, the book "The Essence Within: Decoding the Purpose of Existence," written by Veer Sapan Kumar Vardhan, was launched. Additionally, notable individuals were honored for their outstanding contributions to social service, including Jaipur Foot (BMVSS), Mrs. Anila Kothari, Senior Vice President of Bhagwan Mahavir Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Jaipur, Mr. Amod Kumar Kanth, Founder Secretary General of Prayas JAC Society, and Mr. Devendra Gupta, Founder of Ladli Foundation.

The first session of the event saw the presence of former International Presidents Veer Ranjit Singh Kumawat, IAS (Retd.), Veer Shanti Lal Kawad, Veer Vijay Singh Bapna, and Veer Shanti Kumar Jain, IPS (Retd.). The third session featured a two-phase panel discussion on "The Future of NGOs in India's Social Sector," with participation from distinguished panelists including Rajesh Tiwari, Director General of Indian CSR Centre, Amod Kumar Kanth, Founder Secretary General of Prayas JAC Society, Uday Shankar Singh, CEO of Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, Sudarshan Suchi, CEO of Save the Children India, Anupama Dutta, Head of Policy Research and Advocacy at HelpAge India, Dr. Harish Vashisht, ED of Credibility Alliance, CA Anjani K. Sharma, Co-Founder and Director of SAGA, Harsh Jaitley, CEO of VANI, and Devendra Gupta, Founder of Ladli Foundation.

The event also featured Mahendra Singhi, Director and Advisor of Dalmia Cement Bharat Ltd., as the guest of honor. The final session post-lunch honored Mahavir International Diamond Patron Fellows and Mahavir International Gold Fellow members. A short play titled "Moments of Joy with Us" focused on environmental conservation and was performed by Anil Sharma and his team. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by International Treasurer Veer Sudhir Jain. Veer Karun Chandalia, President of Mahavir International Lakecity, Udaipur, shared this information.
