Kota, Efforts must be made at every level to establish Hindi as the national language and to instill the spirit of patriotism among children. These thoughts were shared by Chief Trustee Prem Shankar Vyas and other dignitaries during the decennial celebration of Samras Sansthan Sahitya Srijan Bharat, a global organization based in Gandhinagar, held in Bhilwara on Saturday. The occasion also featured the Shrimati Pushpadevi Vyas Memorial Literary Awards and a literary symposium.
Mukesh Kumar Vyas ‘Snehil’, the founding coordinator of the organization, presented the annual report, highlighting the institution’s regular monthly poetry sessions, workshops, thought-provoking seminars, and literary honors. He stated that the sole objective of the organization is to promote the Hindi language, foster inclusiveness without any discrimination, and spread harmony across society.
In her welcome address, National President Dr. Shashi Jain recalled that the organization, which began with just eight members ten years ago, now boasts more than 32,000 active members across 18 Indian states and international chapters in the USA, Kenya, and Dubai. Gujarat State President Dr. Vijay Pratap Singh announced that next year’s annual convention would be held in Ahmedabad.
A poet conference, lasting over four hours, entertained and engaged the audience with poetic performances by member poets from across the country. Several publications were also launched during the event, including the organization's book Prem Pushp – 2, Shringar Ek Swabhavik Vritti by Shikha Agrawal, and five poetry collections by Kota-based poet Mahesh Pancholi.
51 Litterateurs Honored with Pushpadevi Vyas Memorial Literary Award
A total of 51 literary figures from Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Mumbai, and Uttar Pradesh were honored during the ceremony. Each was presented with a shawl, garland, certificate, memento, and literary gift as part of the Shrimati Pushpadevi Vyas Memorial Literary Award.
Awardees from Kota included Vijay Joshi, Dr. Vaidehi Gautam, Sadhana Sharma, Mahesh Pancholi, Dr. Shashi Jain, Rajendra Kumar Jain, and Dr. Prabhat Kumar Singhal. From Bhilwara, those honored included Brij Sundar Soni, Prem Soni, Shikha Agrawal, Gayatri Sargam, Shashi Shobha, Krishna Baheti, Prahlad Parikh, Om Ujjwal, Shyam Tiwari, Narendra Naren, and Manohar Kumawat.
The event was formally inaugurated by lighting the ceremonial lamp and garlanding the portraits of Goddess Saraswati and the late Pushpa Devi Vyas. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Chief Trustee Prem Shankar Vyas, Founder Mukesh Kumar Vyas, National President Dr. Shashi Jain, Rajasthan State President Shyam Purohit, Gujarat President Dr. Vijay Pratap Singh, along with other dignitaries such as Prahlad Parikh, Ajay Thakur, Shivshankar, Dinesh Gaurav, and Shiv Shankar.
The program commenced with Vedic chanting by Dr. Vaidehi Gautam and a Saraswati Vandana presented by Sadhana Sharma. A welcome song was sung by Premlata Soni. The proceedings were jointly compered by Vijay Joshi and Hansa Vyas. Bhilwara District President Brij Sundar Soni extended the vote of thanks on behalf of the organizing committee.
