Indian Soft Hockey League Concludes with Grand Ceremony

Jaipur, The Indian Soft Hockey League concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony at Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Stadium. In a thrilling competition, Rajasthan Royals clinched the men's title, while Delhi Daredevils emerged victorious in the women's category. The league marked a significant milestone in the history of Indian soft hockey, bringing together 16 of the country's top teams (both men and women).

The closing ceremony witnessed the presence of Shri Deepak Rastogi, Solicitor General of India, as the Chief Guest, while Prof. Amarika Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Vikrant University, Gwalior, attended as the Guest of Honour. Dr. Kuldeep Singh Jhala, Director of Sports, also graced the occasion.

The event was further enriched by the presence of several dignitaries, including Sandeep Chauhan, Chairman of the Indian Soft Hockey League and IG Police, Jaipur, Dr. Gajendra Singh Rathore (Vice-Chairman), Dr. Ramesh Singh (Secretary), Pushpendra Singh Rathore (Additional SP), Dr. Arun Mathur, Dr. Pavitra Bishnoi, Rajesh Kala (Legal Advisor), and Lion Piyush Soni Jain.

Under the guidance of Prof. Amarika Singh, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was previously signed between the Indian Soft Hockey Association and Vikrant University. This partnership focuses on fostering the growth of soft hockey through various programs, ensuring better facilities and opportunities for players at both national and international levels.

The league showcased remarkable performances, with Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Daredevils dominating their respective finals. Both teams displayed exceptional skills, securing their positions as champions and leaving spectators in awe.
