Udaipur: Students of Bhupal Nobles University celebrated *Teachers' Day* with enthusiasm. Dr. Dilip Singh, Dean of the College of Agriculture, emphasized the importance of good teachers in shaping a civilized and cultured nation. He stressed that while technological development has accelerated in the era of globalization, students must also focus on creative development.
Prof. F.L. Sharma encouraged students to apply the knowledge they receive from teachers to their practical lives, emphasizing the value of regular class attendance and learning from experienced educators. Prof. T. Hussain urged students to adapt to changing times.
N.N.S. Officer Dr. P.S. Rao highlighted the critical role of teachers in imparting knowledge in various fields like music, architecture, sculpture, painting, literature, acting, and film arts, as well as educating millions of doctors, engineers, and entrepreneurs.
The event, hosted by Preksha Nagar, concluded with third-year students Nandini Dora and Mahi Suthar thanking the teachers and students for their participation. A parallel celebration was held at the Bhupal Nobles Girls’ Unit, where Dean Dr. Shilpa Rathore spoke about Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s journey from being a teacher to becoming the President of India, highlighting the pride teachers should feel in their profession.
Students honored the teachers with tilak ceremonies and cultural performances, and a sports competition was held among the teachers. Prior to this, the university's faculty, including Dr. Madhavi Rathore, Dr. Prem Singh Rawlot, and Dr. Garima Babel, paid floral tributes and lit the lamp before Dr. Radhakrishnan’s portrait.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Monika Rajawat and Dr. Dimple Rathore, who mentioned that each teacher was presented with a plant as a token of respect. Faculty members and students attended the event, which was hosted by Fatima Alamshah and Khushi Kunwar Jhala.
At BN Pharmacy, Dean Dr. Y.S. Sarangdevot reported that Pharm.D students also celebrated Teachers' Day and received blessings from their teachers. Similar events were held at the university's law, education, sports, BNIPS, BN Public School, and postgraduate departments.
University Chairperson Colonel Prof. Shivsingh Sarangdevot, President Dr. Mahendra Singh Agaria, Managing Director of Vidya Pracharini Sabha Mohabbat Singh Rathore, and University Registrar Dr. Niranjan Narayan Singh Rathore sent their best wishes to all teachers on this occasion.
