Udaipur: The Department of English at Bhupal Noble's University organized a seminar on the topic "Technology as a Modern Challenge" as part of their English literature activities. The event was attended by faculty members from the English department, including Dr. Jayshree Singh, Dr. Madhavi Rathore, Dr. Aparna Sharma, and Dr. Manisha Shekhawat, who assessed the activities of the English language speaking and reading club.
The speech competition was judged by Dr. Seema Naruka, Principal of B.N. Public School, Udaipur, tech-savvy legal expert Ms. Aishwarya Singh, and Lecturer O.P. from Jindal Global University, Sonipat. The program was chaired by Dr. Renu Rathore, Dean of the Faculty of Science, with Colonel Manohar Singh Rathore, former Career and Employment Officer at B.N. University, as the chief guest.
Students from various subjects of the Science College at BNU also participated in the event, with postgraduate students of English delivering oral presentations and seminars in line with the new NEP 2020 requirements. Tanya Rathore, Hani Rathore, Dishvit Taylor, Harshvardhan Singh Chauhan, Bhavika, and Yugnashi Chaudhary secured positions.
The event aimed to promote reading skills for literary and academic writing and speaking, as well as enhance communication and skill development for employment purposes. The vote of thanks was delivered by researchers Deepank Ahari and Kamla.
