"Thinking, Contemplating, and Reflecting Give Rise to a Resilient Personality" - MLA Tarachand Jain

Udaipur: The Rao Bahadur Thakur Raj Singh Bedla Memorial All-Rajasthan Hindi Debate Competition was organized at Bhupal Nobles Postgraduate College, starting with the lighting of the lamp. MLA Tarachand Jain, the chief guest at the state-level event, addressed the participants, stating that competitions on pressing issues teach students not only about education but also their responsibilities toward society and the nation. He emphasized that thinking, contemplating, and reflecting are the hallmarks of a resilient personality.

In his presidential address, the University Chairperson, Colonel Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, shared his thoughts on intellectual skills and the pursuit of knowledge, highlighting the importance of depth of understanding and the use of logic to present ideas effectively.

Dr. Mahendra Singh Agarwal, Secretary of the Institution, expressed his concern over students resorting to drastic steps like suicide, citing the lack of communication as a critical issue. He stressed that the purpose of communication is not to exert pressure but to accept the truth with patience. If communication fails, national progress will be hindered. 

On this occasion, Managing Director Mohabbat Singh Rathod, Joint Secretary Rajendra Singh Thana, University Registrar Dr. Niranjan Narayan Singh Rathod, Nawal Singh Chundawat, Mahendra Singh Pakhand, Mahendra Singh Semari, Mann Singh Chundawat, and Bhanu Pratap Singh, Secretary of the Old Boys Association, were present. 

Dr. Renu Rathod, Dean of the Faculty of Science, welcomed the guests and presented the personality and contributions of Rao Bahadur Thakur Raj Singh. Dr. Chandrika Sharma, the event coordinator, provided detailed information and explained that participants showcased their youthful energy by expressing their views on both sides of the debate. 

In the competition, the winner of the "Chal Vaijayanti" event was the Faculty of Education from BN University, Udaipur. Divyangana Ranawat, from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, won the first prize. The second prize was awarded to Hani Singh Rathod from the Faculty of Education, BN College, and Prajwal Singh Tomar from BN Postgraduate College. The third prize was given to Bhuvanesh Shrihari from SPU PG College, Falna. 

The judging panel included Dr. Raju Singh, Dr. Rajkumar Chaudhary, and Dr. Giriraj Singh Chauhan. 

On this occasion, Dr. Rajendra Singh Shaktawat, Dean of the Commerce Faculty, Dr. Shilpa Rathod, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Ritu Tomar, Associate Dean of the Science Faculty, Dr. Rajni Arora, Director of the Management Faculty, Dr. K.S. Rathod, Public Relations Officer, Dr. J.S. Bhati, Associate Dean of the Arts Faculty, and all faculty members were present. 

The event was efficiently and commendably conducted by Dr. Praveena Rathod and Dr. Reena Mehta. Managing Director Mohabbat Singh Rathod and University Registrar Dr. N.N. Singh encouraged all participants and extended their best wishes for World Hindi Day.
