Vast Religious Festival in Banswara

Banswara,  Shri Jagadguru Agra Malook Peethadhishwar Dwarcharya Swami Shri Rajendrasdaji Maharaj stressed the importance of cow protection and preservation to make India prosperous. He stated that a cow-based rural life and environment is the key to a golden future for the nation. He also pointed out that India’s well-being cannot be ensured without being free from the stigma of cow slaughter.

On the seventh day of the grand religious festival at Laliwaw Math, Shri Jagadguru Agra Malook Peethadhishwar Swami Shri Rajendrasdaji Devacharyaji Maharaj, while narrating the Shreemad Bhagwat Katha, discussed the importance of cows, emphasizing their traditional and ancient glory. He expressed sorrow over the fact that a nationwide ban on cow slaughter has not yet been implemented, calling it a disgrace for the country. He stated that protecting, nurturing, and serving cows is of utmost importance and that India must return to its past reverence for the cow.

He further explained that simply passing laws will not ensure the preservation of cows. There is a need for cow-based education, healthcare, and agriculture. Cows should be included in educational curricula at all levels, from primary schools to colleges and universities. Additionally, cow shelter management courses should be introduced. Since cows are the source of well-being, cow-based healthcare should also be given more attention.

Swami Rajendrasdaji Maharaj pointed out that cows are under attack on multiple fronts. On one hand, they are brutally slaughtered by cruel butchers, and on the other, artificial insemination is used to create hybrid breeds like Jerseys, leading to the destruction of indigenous cattle breeds. He called for greater responsibility from Hindus to come forward for the protection and preservation of cows, encouraging them to donate a portion of their earnings towards cow service, ensuring that no cow in India goes hungry.

Swami Rajendrasdaji Maharaj began the Katha with verses from the Dohavali and narrated the various divine stories from the Bhagwat, urging the devotees to make their lives divine and dedicated to the welfare of the world.

During the event, Kuberacharya Jagadguru Avichal Devacharyaji Maharaj and Mahamandaleshwar Rampraveshdas Maharaj also gave speeches, calling the Bhagwat Katha a source of immense spiritual merit and a blessing for Banswara.

The event began with a welcome ceremony for Maharaj Shri by Radhes Radhes Baba, Laliwaw Peethadhishwar Mahamandaleshwar Shri Mahant Hariomdasji Maharaj, Swami Anilanand Maharaj, Sant Shri Raghubheerdas Maharaj, Raj family member Jagmalsingh, festival organizer Bhuvan Mukund Pandya, Ashok Pathak, Lakshmi Agarwal, and Vinod Joshi.

As chief hosts, the festival organizing committee president Lakshmikant Trivedi and Smt. Anusuya Trivedi, along with Pandit Yogendra Mishra, conducted the Vedic rituals, welcoming Maharaj Shri and performing the Shreemad Bhagwat worship and Aarti.

The Festival Will Conclude on Wednesday

Festival organizer Pandit Bhuvan Mukund Pandya announced that the eight-day religious festival will conclude on Wednesday, with the Bhagwat Katha beginning at 10 AM, followed by the culmination of the Shri Vidya and Shri Lakshminarayan Mahayagya in the Abhijit Muhurat. The event will end with a grand Prasad (Bhandara) distribution.
