Banswara Municipal Council Gets New Administrator

Banswara, As per the notification from the Director and Special Secretary, Urban Development Department, Rajasthan, Jaipur (No. P.10(ka) Election (Formation) Category/DLB/2024/7008-7170, dated 25th November 2024), the term of the elected boards in 49 urban local bodies of the state ended on 25th November 2024. Until the formation of the new elected boards, the Additional District Collector of Banswara has been appointed as the Administrator of the Banswara Municipal Council.

On the morning of 27th November 2024, at 10:30 AM, Mr. Abhishek Goyal, Additional District Collector of Banswara, took charge as the Administrator of the Banswara Municipal Council.

During the handover, the Administrator took a briefing from the Commissioner, Executive Engineer, and Assistant Engineer regarding the ongoing development works in the city. He also sought details from the Assistant Town Planner about the proposals related to lake conservation. Further, instructions were issued to enhance the municipal revenue and ensure the timely completion of targets set under various central and state government schemes. The Administrator also directed the timely disposal of applications, complaints, and other tasks presented to the council.
