Ganesh Idol Depicting Chandrayaan-3 Theme Adorns Balmukund Mandal in Banswara

Banswara: The TelI community of Kishanpol Balmukund Ganesh Mandal in Banswara city has adorned Lord Ganesh's idol with a Chandrayaan-3 theme. The success of Chandrayaan-3 is resonating with the people of the country, and during the Ganesh festival, a model of Lord Ganapati along with Chandrayaan 3 is catching everyone's eye. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the TelI community has installed the idol of Lord Ganpati.

The Ganesh Chaturthi festival is currently underway, and Lord Ganesh's idols can be seen in all pandals. However, the center of attraction here is the model of Chandrayaan-3 placed right next to Lord Ganesh. Devotees are thronging to catch a glimpse of it. The locals have appreciated the effort put in by the community.

One special feature of this tableau is that it combines the themes of Gajendra Moksha, Akhanda Bharat (Undivided India), and Chandrayaan-3 in one. Kishanpol Balmukund Ganesh Mandal has stated that every year, visitors are deeply impressed, and everyone becomes emotionally involved after seeing the display. It took approximately two months to prepare this tableau using thermocol, iron, and clay. Notably, this tableau is the only fully computerized automatic tableau in the entire Banswara district.

It should be noted that this Mandal sets a topic for discussion every year and prepares a tableau to attract devotees, such as the Shri Ram Mandir model, Lord's chariot ride, Kalia Mardan, Sagar Manthan, and pot-breaking, among others. This Kishanpol Balmukund Ganesh Mandal, with the blessings of Mahamantari Mahamandalshwar Hariomdas Ji Maharaj, Peethadheeshwar Tapobhoomi Lalivav Math, has also pledged to install small idols each year, as per their guidance, and create a tableau based on those idols. This year, the idol of Balmukund Mandal is just 24 inches tall and, after creating the tableau with thermocol, it stands at 9 feet. It was crafted by renowned artist Mangilal Ji Prajapati of Banswara city using clay.
