Nathdwara : Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi fulfilled his promise to Shri Vishal Bawa by placing the gifted Pichwai painting of Lord Shrinathji and a cow, created in the Nathdwara style, in his private chamber. Shri Vishal Bawa, the young Acharya of the Pushtimarg principal seat, expressed his gratitude towards Prime Minister Modi for keeping his word.
Recently, Prime Minister Modi shared a photo on his social media account where he was seen with a calf. The picture also featured the Pichwai painting of Shrinathji and a cow that Shri Vishal Bawa had presented to him during Modi's visit to Nathdwara. During that visit, Shri Modi had expressed admiration for Nathdwara’s artistic and cultural heritage, particularly the Pichwai art, and had promised to place the gifted painting in his private quarters.
Honoring his commitment, Prime Minister Modi displayed the painting in his personal space and shared it on social media. Shri Vishal Bawa expressed his gratitude and remarked, "A person who keeps their word is truly worthy of leadership, and Prime Minister Modi has done just that. He said he would place this painting in his private chamber, and for this, I thank him. I also commend him for his dedication to the preservation and promotion of our artistic and cultural heritage."
