Two-Day Program on Women's Empowerment Organized by Srijan Organization

Bhilwara: Srijan Organization in Bhilwara is set to host a two-day program focused on women's empowerment on October 5 and 6. Chairperson Mamta Modani announced that this is the first time various national-level events will be held at Mahesh Hostel to promote women's empowerment. Entry for both days is free, with passes arranged for the Garba Dandiya night based on categories.

**Objective of the Srijan Workshop**

Mamta Modani, Chairperson of Srijan Organization, stated that the organization has been working to enhance women's empowerment and has conducted numerous small initiatives over the past four years. This will be the first major event organized by Srijan in Bhilwara, with the primary aim of using the funds raised during the event for various women's development programs. A significant portion will be allocated for purchasing handloom machines, which will then be used to train and empower women. The organization boasts several professional women working across India.

**Inauguration on October 5**

The two-day program will kick off on October 5 at Mahesh Hostel, with notable guests including Bhilwara District Collector Namit Mehta, industrialist and social worker Ram Pal Soni, and Bhilwara MLA Ashok Kothari, along with other dignitaries.

**Program Outline**

From October 5-6, various programs centered around women's empowerment will take place at Mahesh Hostel, featuring stalls and exhibitions from across India. The Srijan Biz Workshop will host four sessions on different topics aimed at changing the future of university and school students, as well as aspiring entrepreneurs eager to bring their visions to life. 

The first session on October 5 will focus on "Self-Reliance," followed by a second session on "Crafting Your Entrepreneurial Dream." On October 6, sessions titled "Getting Things Done" and "From Theory to Practice" will be led by experts. A dance drama competition focusing on women's empowerment will also be held, alongside group Dandiya and Garba competitions. Additionally, an "Innovative Idea for Business" competition will take place for students.

**Attractive Prizes for Winners**

Winners will be awarded attractive prizes during the event. The two-day exhibition will feature various cultural programs, along with an open Dandiya and Garba festival on October 5 and 6, celebrating the Gujarati tradition. Prizes will be awarded in several categories, including "Best Garba Costume" (for both men and women), "Best Dance Steps," and "Best Pair," with special prizes for children aged 5-10 based on costumes and dance steps.

On October 5, a group competition for women aged 25-45 will offer cash prizes of ₹7,100 for first place, ₹5,100 for second, and ₹3,100 for third. On October 6, the group Dandiya Garba competition will be held with a Gujarati costume theme, featuring cash prizes of ₹21,000 for first place, ₹11,000 for second, and ₹7,100 for third. The Srijan Biz 2024 competition will provide a platform for participants to showcase their skills and talent, with prizes including a laptop and cash rewards totaling ₹30,000.
