On Friday, Charbhuja Krishna Dham Temple in Rajsamand witnessed a massive influx of devotees on the occasion of Dev Pitru Amavasya. The Jagotia family from Kannauj and Chittorgarh prepared a feast for Lord Charbhuja Nath as an offering. Priests Nathulal Gurjar and Chetan Gurjar distributed sacred betel leaves and holy water (Pan Bira and Charanamrit) to the devotees.
Throughout the day, a steady stream of devotees came for darshan. The previous night, on Thursday (Chaudas), the priests carried the small idol of Lord Charbhuja in a silver palanquin to Nagar Chowk, accompanied by music and dancing devotees who showered flowers. The idol was adorned with roses by the priests for the devotees to behold.
Devotees offered a variety of sweets, including Mawa, Mishri, and Singhada Sev, along with fruits. The new priests from the Ghisulal Bhandari family offered Lapsi as part of the ritual. Prasad was distributed to all devotees, with hundreds partaking in the holy food.
Devotees stood in lines on both sides of the swing, singing hymns. At midnight, the small idol was ceremoniously returned to the sanctum from Meera Bai Temple, followed by the evening aarti and the Lord's bedtime ritual.
Devotees from Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Udaipur, Kuraj, Kunwaria, and Marwar thronged the temple, seeking the blessings of Lord Charbhuja Nath.
