Jio Sound Pay Service: Free UPI Payment Alerts Now Available

Mumbai, 2025: On the occasion of Republic Day, Jio is launching its new service, ‘Jio Sound Pay,’ which will be available for free for life on Jio Bharat phones. This service will provide an audio alert for UPI payments without the need for a soundbox, benefiting over five crore small and micro traders across the country.

Jio Sound Pay will offer an instant, multilingual audio alert for every UPI payment. This service will be especially useful for grocery stores, vegetable vendors, and small shopkeepers, as they will no longer need to spend 125 rupees monthly on a soundbox, allowing them to save up to 1,500 rupees annually.

Available on the affordable Jio Bharat phone priced at 699 rupees, this service will prove to be a beneficial option for small traders, and the cost of the phone can be recovered in just six months.

Jio President Sunil Dutt said, “Jio believes in empowering every Indian by leveraging technology.” On this special occasion of Republic Day, Jio has also included the tunes of "Vande Mataram" in this service, making it even more special.
