**Udaipur,  On the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a tree plantation drive was organized on Monday at the Agriculture College campus under the joint auspices of Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed-to-be University) and the 01 Raj Naval Unit (NCC). The event was led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, Prof. Ekling Singh Jhala, Camp Commandant Commander Rajendra Kumar, Deputy Shakeel Ahmed, Dean Prof. Gajendra Mathur, Prof. I.J. Mathur, and Hari Om Singh. A total of 547 cadets, along with deans, directors, students, and staff, planted a tree each in the name of their mothers and took an oath to protect them.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.S. Sarangdevot emphasized the importance of the environment, nature, and earth as the wealth of future generations, which we all have a responsibility to protect and preserve. He stated that there is a need to integrate environmental education from the primary level in schools to create a favorable atmosphere in society towards environmental conservation. The event was attended by Dr. Anand Jodha, Saurabh Singh, Dr. Rohit Kumawat, Dr. Kalpana Yadav, Dr. Dhvani Sharma, Dr. Aruna Parihar, Dr. Sonia Jeswani, and students.
