### Udaipur Center Receives 18 Accession Numbers for Wild Edible and Medicinal Mushrooms

The 26th Annual Workshop (2023-24) of the All India Coordinated Mushroom Research Project was held at the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Bengaluru, on June 13-14, 2024.

During the workshop, 33 centers operating under the Directorate of Mushroom Research, Chambaghat, Solan, presented their annual reports. Dr. Narayan Lal Meena, Project In-charge of the All India Coordinated Mushroom Research Project, Udaipur Center, presented the report for Udaipur. He reported that a total of 80 samples of edible and medicinal mushrooms, collected from various regions of Rajasthan, were submitted to the Directorate of Mushroom Research for mushroom license/accession numbers. Subsequently, the Udaipur center received the highest number of 18 mushroom license/accession numbers, the most among all centers in India.
