Satish Dangi and Harvik Dangi from DPS Udaipur Achieve First and Third Place Nationwide

Satish Dangi, an eighth-grade student at Delhi Public School, Udaipur, has made the school proud by securing All India Rank 1 in the National Judo Championship in the 50 kg category. This competition took place in Jharkhand, where Satish, representing the West Zone, surpassed players from the East, Gulf, Central, and North Zones to achieve this remarkable feat. 

Additionally, Harvik Dangi, a sixth-grade student, earned All India Rank 3 in the 25 kg category during the same competition. Satish won a gold medal, while Harvik secured a bronze medal, bringing honor to both the school and the state. In 2023, Satish also won a gold medal at the national level and a bronze medal in the SAI National Championship. 

The coach of these young athletes is Mr. Chahat Jain, a national-level player. The school's Pro Vice Chairman, Mr. Govind Agarwal, remarked that their dedication and hard work in sports have led to these achievements, and the school is committed to nurturing athletes at the national level. The school principal, Mr. Sanjay Narvariya, congratulated the players and their parents on their success.
