Udaipur, Geetanjali Technology Institute has partnered with the renowned Heartfulness organization to establish a Center of Excellence for Wellness and Heartfulness. This groundbreaking initiative is dedicated to promoting mental health, mindfulness, and holistic development among students, faculty, and the wider community.
Last week, Dr. Narendra Singh Rathore, Director of the Institute, and Dr. Rakesh Dashora, Heartfulness Coordinator, signed an agreement to formalize this partnership. Through this collaboration, the institute will implement various programs focused on the holistic development and stress management of students.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Narendra Singh Rathore emphasized the significance of this endeavor in shaping the mindset of the younger generation. He expressed that this center of excellence would serve as a sanctuary of peace, meditation, and personal growth for the entire Geetanjali Institute.
Dr. Rakesh Dashora, an expert in yoga, meditation, and reflexology, introduced the profound concept of Heartfulness. Mr. Ram Krishna Mallela, a certified Heartfulness trainer from Kanha, Hyderabad, delivered a captivating keynote address on the vital connection between spiritual health and overall well-being.
The event was graced by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Dr. Subodh Sharma, Heartfulness trainer and former dean; Mrs. Madhu Mehta, Heartfulness Zonal Coordinator; Mrs. Shweta Ramkrishna, Director of the Brighter Minds Program; and faculty members and department heads from the institute. BL Jangid, Finance Controller, also addressed the gathering and encouraged the students. The program was coordinated by Dr. Neelima Bajaj, Wellness Coordinator, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Vishal Jain, Head of the Basic Sciences Department.
Heartfulness Workshops Benefit Students at Rajasthan Mahila B.Ed College and Vidya Bhavan
On the same day, Mr. Ram Krishna Mallela, a certified Heartfulness trainer from Kanha, Hyderabad, conducted workshops for students of Rajasthan Mahila B.Ed College and Vidya Bhavan's "Unchi Udaan" program, sponsored by Hindustan Zinc. He shared techniques for holistic development, personality development, stress management, and capacity building through Heartfulness meditation. He also introduced various Brighter Minds exercises and techniques for improving brain synchronization, memory, peace, concentration, and work efficiency. Over 200 students from RMV and 150 from Unchi Udaan participated in the workshop.
Dr. Prabha Bajpai, Principal of RMV, Coordinator Mrs. Aabha, Heartfulness Zonal Coordinator Mrs. Madhu Mehta, Trainer Dr. Rita Nagpal, Unchi Udaan Coordinator Manish Chaudhary, Hindustan Zinc CSR Head Dr. Anupam Nidhi, Mrs. Madhu Singhvi, and Ravindra Singhvi were among the dignitaries present at the event.
