Reconstructive Surgery Screening Camp for Leprosy Patients Organized at Geetanjali Hospital

A reconstructive surgery screening camp for leprosy patients was organized at the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Department of Geetanjali Hospital. After screening, five patients from Udaipur, Pali, and Jalore districts were recommended for admission by plastic surgeon Dr. Asutosh Soni and his team. These patients will undergo surgery as per the instructions of the Medical and Health Department in the coming days. 

The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Pankaj Gaud, Deputy Director of the Medical and Health Department, Udaipur Zone. On this occasion, the in-charge officers from Udaipur, Mr. Gopal Puri, Pali, Mr. Bhura Ram Patel, and Jalore, Mr. Ram Kumar, along with Geetanjali's Deputy Superintendent Dr. Suresh Choudhary, were also present. It is noteworthy that Geetanjali Hospital is the only private hospital in the state selected by the Government of India for this important initiative.
