Horror films have always had a distinct appeal among audiences. In 2024, films like 'Munja', 'Stree 2', and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' have been widely appreciated. Now, a new horror film titled 'Love Is Forever' is set to release at the start of the new year. During a recent press conference, the lead actors of the film, Ruslan Mumtaz, Karnika Mandal, and Rahul D Kumar, shared their unique experiences working on the film.

A Fresh Take on Love: 'Love Is Forever'

Ruslan Mumtaz, who plays a pivotal role in the film, explained that the story is a different kind of love story. "In this film, a couple is being disturbed by some mysterious force. Every time they try to come together, accidents happen, disturbing them. Who this force is will only be revealed at the end of the film," he said.

Ruslan shared that he has a keen interest in horror films, and when the offer for this movie came, he accepted it without even hearing the story. "When I finally heard the story, it was fascinating," he added.

Karnika Mandal's Take: A Love Triangle

Karnika Mandal, another lead actress, described the film as a love triangle, filled with numerous shocking moments for the audience. "When the couple goes on their honeymoon, strange events happen to either the boy or the girl, with some unknown power preventing them from being together. Who this force is will be revealed later in the film."

Rahul D Kumar's View: A Different Kind of Horror

Actor Rahul D Kumar noted that viewers will be reminded of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Darr' and Nana Patekar's 'Agni Sakshi', but emphasized that 'Love Is Forever' is distinct. He shared that working with Ruslan Mumtaz was an enriching experience. "He did a fantastic job in the film. Karnika also portrays a very unique character," Rahul remarked.

Bonding with Co-stars: Ruslan, Karnika, and Rahul

Karnika spoke about the chemistry she shared with Ruslan and Rahul, saying, "I’ve worked with Rahul on a few projects before, so our bond was quite strong. This was my first time working with Ruslan, and it was a unique experience working with him."

Director S. Srinivas's Influence: A Humble South Indian Filmmaker

Director S. Srinivas, known for his work in South Indian cinema, was praised by Ruslan for his humility. "South filmmakers are very humble, and we aren't used to working with such humble people. S. Srinivas showed great respect to all the cast members," Ruslan said.

Karnika also appreciated S. Srinivas's teaching style, saying, "He explained each scene with care, almost like a teacher. I’ve worked in the South before, and the team there is always wonderful to work with."

Produced under the banner of Soft Touch Entertainment, 'Love Is Forever' is set to release on January 10, 2025, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film stars Ruslan Mumtaz, Karnika Mandal, Rahul D Kumar, along with Mushhtaq Khan, Gargi Patel, Garima Agarwal, Javed Haider, Salim Munawar, Mohammad Salim Mullanwar, and Chandraprakash Thakur in key roles.
