AAFT Alumni Meet Celebrates 33 Years of Excellence

Noida: The 33rd Alumni Meet of the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) was recently celebrated with great enthusiasm at the AAFT campus in Noida. The event, sponsored by Marwah Studios, recognized the contributions of the institution to the Indian film industry over the years. AAFT, founded by Mohit Marwah and Akshay Marwah, has been a pioneer in creative education for over three decades, with a 100-acre film city in Noida and a 27-acre campus in Raipur. 

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT, addressed the gathering, stating, "This Alumni Meet is a celebration of our rich legacy. Progress lies in constantly moving forward, and I am delighted to see our distinguished alumni come together to celebrate their achievements and continue contributing to their respective fields, bringing pride to their alma mater."

The 33rd Alumni Meet saw professionals from various fields of media, entertainment, and creative arts come together to share their experiences and relive their creative journeys. The event fostered numerous networking opportunities for alumni, creating an energetic environment and reminding them of the fond memories of their time at AAFT. During the ceremony, notable alumni were honored with the "Gaurav Samman" award for their exceptional contributions to their respective industries. 

Awardees included Devanshu Singh (Founder & MD, Singh Events & Exhibitions), Junaid Khan (Contributions to Maruti Suzuki Colors of Youth, Season 6, 7, 8), Shreyansh Mohan Verma (Performer, Founder & Music Advisor, Film JAR Productions), Anamika Goud (2023 Youngest Professional of the Year award winner, Outstanding Journalism), and Deepna (Casting Director, Balaji Productions). Their remarkable achievements served as an inspiration for current students and other alumni.

A discussion on "Networking and Future Opportunities" further enriched the event as guest speakers contributed to the vibrant atmosphere. The meet provided alumni with a chance to explore new possibilities and strengthen collaborative relationships, laying the foundation for stronger ties in the future. The main goal of the event was to develop a supportive and active alumni network that motivates and empowers former students for better opportunities ahead.
