### Hindustan Zinc’s Sakhi Fest on March 28

Udaipur,  Hindustan Zinc Limited, in collaboration with Pt. Chatur Lal Festival, is set to host the vibrant Sakhi Fest on March 28, celebrating women empowerment, artistry, and entrepreneurship. The festival, to be held at Vidya Bhavan Primary School, Dewali, will feature over 30 interactive stalls, live performances, and cultural showcases, offering visitors a glimpse into the region’s rich heritage.

Attendees can explore a reading corner, ‘Uunchi Udaan’ (science exploration), and engaging fun games. A specially designed Rajasthani-themed photo booth will allow visitors to capture memories in traditional attire. Food lovers can indulge in a delightful spread, including traditional Rajasthani snacks, live chaat stations, South Indian delicacies, Chinese cuisine, flavorful pizzas, tandoori kebabs, mocktails, and desserts.

Beyond crafts and cuisine, Sakhi Fest will present a spectacular cultural lineup. The legendary Nizami Brothers will headline with a grand Qawwali Night, while Honey Sharma’s soulful Sufi music and Shubhra Pareek’s enchanting folk melodies promise to mesmerize the audience. Additional attractions include a thrilling khar­tal and tabla jugalbandi by Firoz Khan and Muzaffar Rehman, along with vibrant folk dances showcasing India’s rich cultural tapestry. The festival will also feature nukkad natak (street plays), live music, and an interactive dance engagement zone.

A key highlight will be exhibits from Hindustan Zinc’s CSR initiatives, showcasing the exceptional talents of women entrepreneurs. Visitors can explore Upaya’s handcrafted products, block-printed fabrics, and FMCG items by Daichi, all crafted by women-led enterprises.

With a blend of art, culture, creativity, and celebration, Sakhi Fest is open to all with free entry, promising an unforgettable experience of music, flavors, and tradition.
