Banswara, The sacred land of Lalivav Math, a historic spiritual epicenter, witnessed the second day of an eight-day grand religious festival on Thursday. The day commenced with 108 Bhagwat Parayana recitations and rituals for ancestral salvation, followed by the inauguration of a week-long Shrimad Bhagwat Katha by Swami Rajendradass Devacharya Ji Maharaj, the revered Agramaluk Peethadheeshwar.

Devotees thronged the Saket Nagar Lalivav Math in thousands to participate in the yagna and circumambulate the Bhagwat pandal. The air was filled with devotion as the faithful immersed themselves in the spiritual ambiance.

Spiritual Teachings and Wisdom Shared

The highly anticipated Shrimad Bhagwat Katha commenced under the auspices of Jagadguru Dwaracharya Swami Rajendradass Devacharya Ji Maharaj, a globally celebrated spiritual luminary. Reverentially addressing the devotees from the Vyasa Peeth, Swami Ji reminisced about the historic and spiritual significance of Lalivav Math and paid homage to the previous Peethadheeshwars.

Emphasizing the essence of Bhagwat, Swami Ji highlighted the significance of selfless service and the transformative power of spiritual gatherings (satsangs). He stressed the need to abandon worldly attachments and adopt a life of purity to tread the path of divine realization. His profound teachings resonated with the audience, urging them to cultivate love and devotion while embracing life’s spiritual purpose.

Rituals for Ancestral Peace

The day also marked the commencement of a seven-day 108 Shrimad Bhagwat Parayana for the salvation of all ancestors. Over 108 learned scholars from renowned pilgrimage centers like Vrindavan, Ayodhya, Varanasi, and Chitrakoot chanted the Bhagwat verses with devotion. This extraordinary congregation has become a focal point of attraction and reverence for devotees.

The rituals began with Guru Vandana led by Brahmarishi Pandit Divyabharat Pandya, followed by the ceremonial worship of the Bhagwat texts. Ancestral peace rituals were conducted by religious scholars from prominent institutions, ensuring the spiritual fulfillment of the participating families.

Shri Vidya and Lakshmi Narayan Mahayagna

Under the leadership of Acharya Pandit Nikunj Mohan Pandya, over 40 eminent priests initiated the Shri Vidya and Lakshmi Narayan Mahayagna. The ceremonies included Vinayak Stavan, deity worship, and sacred chants, culminating in offerings made to the holy fire. The nine sacred kunds witnessed havans performed with fervor, accompanied by collective recitations of Vedic mantras.

Divine Blessings and Celebrations

The festival’s president, Shrimad Jagadguru Shri Madhavacharya Ji Maharaj, extended his blessings, recalling the memory of the late Mahant Narayandas Ji Maharaj. In his address, he praised the spiritual significance of the Mahotsav and expressed gratitude towards Agramaluk Peethadheeshwar for his participation.

Lalivav Peethadheeshwar Mahant Hariomdas Ji Maharaj welcomed Swami Rajendradass Ji and lauded his Bhagwat discourse as a source of pride for Banswara.

Saints and Seers Join the Celebration

Distinguished saints and seers, including Mahamandaleshwar Ramkrishnadas Ji Maharaj (Puri), Mahant Bhaktcharandas Ji Maharaj (Nasik), and others from across the country, graced the occasion. Their presence added to the spiritual grandeur of the event.

The Mahotsav will continue on Friday, with yagna rituals starting at 8 a.m., followed by the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha from 2 p.m. Devotees are invited to partake in this spiritual feast, offering an opportunity to connect with divine grace and wisdom.
