K.K. Gupta, the state coordinator for Rajasthan's Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin, has been appointed as the Honorary Resource Person for Cleanliness by the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. In this role, Gupta will provide free guidance to volunteers across Rajasthan under the "Mera Yuva Bharat" initiative and National Service Scheme (NSS) programs to promote the vision of a clean and developed India.
Regional Director S.P. Bhatnagar stated that Gupta will contribute to various NSS programs with his expertise and leadership.
Remarkable Contributions and Achievements
Gupta has served as a non-government member of the Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin (NSSC) and has twice been appointed as the Swachhta Brand Ambassador for the Rajasthan government. Under his leadership, Dungarpur Municipal Council achieved several milestones in cleanliness, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi publicly praising the city’s initiatives.
Exceptional Work in Gujarat
Gupta played a significant role in cleanliness campaigns in five villages adopted by Union Home Minister Amit Shah near Gandhinagar, Gujarat. These efforts resulted in the villages securing the first, third, and fifth positions at the national level.

For his dedication to cleanliness and social causes, Gupta has received numerous awards from Indian and international organizations. He has also been appointed as the "amicus curiae" by the District Court of Jhunjhunu for preserving the globally renowned havelis in Jhunjhunu, Nawalgarh, and Mandawa, significantly improving their condition.
