Resentment Grows Amongst the Public Due to Arbitrary Actions by Bhimganj Mandi Police

Kota: Recent arbitrary actions and unjust treatment of innocent individuals by the Bhimganj Mandi Police have led to growing resentment among the local population. If this trend of police misconduct continues, it could have significant implications in the upcoming elections, particularly for Shanti Dhariwal, the incumbent MLA from Kota North, who will be contesting from the same constituency.

It is crucial to understand that the police force's primary responsibility is to instill fear in wrongdoers and instill confidence in the general public. However, when this balance is disrupted, it can tarnish the reputation of the police. In Kota city, the police, under the leadership of City SP Bhagwat Singh Hingad, Additional Superintendent of Police Ankit Jain, Harshraj Singh Khareda, Khem Singh Rathore, Amar Singh, and several CI officers, have been successfully working on the theme of instilling trust in the public and fear in criminals. Their efforts have been commended by the public. Nevertheless, some individuals within the Bhimganj Mandi Police appear to be damaging the police force's image.

Recently, an incident occurred where the police conducted a search operation at a residence in Bhimganj Mandi. However, after an extensive search, no illegal substances were found. Instead of promptly concluding the matter, the police began counting cash found at the location. This action was caught on video by a bystander using a mobile phone. The family members of the individual involved later retrieved their money from the police. It is worth noting that the person in question had no apparent links to any criminal activity.

Another incident raised concerns among the public when the Bhimganj Mandi Police conducted a raid on a hotel owner multiple times without finding any evidence of wrongdoing. Such incidents not only tarnish the image of the police but also cause unnecessary distress to innocent citizens.

The public in the Bhimganj Mandi Police jurisdiction has previously witnessed the honest and principled work of Superintendent of Police Harshraj Singh Khareda, who has never harassed innocent individuals and never let criminals escape. Therefore, the public values honest police officers. 

It is also worth mentioning that the Bhimganj Mandi Police have yet to take action against several locations that warrant investigation, which has raised concerns among the public.

The actions of a few individuals within the Bhimganj Mandi Police must not overshadow the commendable work done by other officers in the Kota police force. Public trust in the police is of utmost importance, and arbitrary actions must be rectified promptly.
