Divisional Railway Manager Highlights Rail Achievements in Monthly Press Conference

Kota: A monthly press conference was held on Thursday, September 21, under the leadership of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Kota, Mr. Manoj Kumar Jain, at the Divisional Railway Manager's Office. During this press conference, the Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) presented a PowerPoint presentation (PPT) discussing various ongoing projects and initiatives aimed at improving passenger facilities, increasing revenue, and other significant developments.

Key Highlights of Passenger Facilities and Achievements in the Division:

1. The division has earned revenue of INR 440.21 crores from the loading of 3.354 million tonnes of goods.

2. An impressive 1.465 million tonnes of urea was exclusively loaded.

3. Revenue collection of INR 11.45 crores from 1.82 lakh ticket-checking cases.

4. Virtual foundation stone laying ceremony by Hon'ble Prime Minister for 14 stations under the Amrit India Station Scheme in August.

5. Unveiling of the commemorative plaque at Atru station as part of the mission to redevelop 14 stations, along with other stations in the division.

6. Punctuality rate of 87.95% for Mail/Express passenger trains.

7. Security audits and inspections conducted by senior administrative grade officers.

8. Commissioning of the Ramganj Mandi-Bhopal new rail line project up to Aklera-Ghatoli.

9. Swift progress in the Mission Raftaar 160 km/hr project.

10. Progress in the redevelopment of Kota and Dakaniya Talav stations.

11. Innovative work undertaken at the Electric Loco Shed in Tuglakabad.
