### Professor Mohammad Naim's Heartfelt Farewell on Voluntary Retirement

**Kota,A farewell and honor ceremony was organized by the Staff Club of Government College, Kota, to bid adieu to Professor Mohammad Naim Falahi, Head of the Urdu Department and former Joint Secretary of the Higher Education Department of the Rajasthan Government, upon his voluntary retirement after completing 28 years of service.

#### Welcoming the Family

On this occasion, the Secretary of the Staff Club, Professor Manju Gupta, welcomed Professor Naim and his family members, including his wife Mufida Bano, sisters Salma and Firdaus, sons Engineer Ziaul Islam and Advocate Saiful Islam, daughters-in-law Dr. Nishat Bano and Engineer Nikhat Tarannum. She remarked that his services in the Higher Education Department will be remembered for a long time. The purpose of this ceremony is to honor his contributions to the department.

#### Principal's Address

The Principal of the college, Professor Roshan Bharti, stated that since he assumed office, Professor Naim has provided full support. His unique contributions, dedication, academic and administrative experiences, and innovations have brought pride to the college. During his tenure in the Higher Education Department, he introduced new dimensions to the department. Professor Naim will always be remembered for his historic works, such as completing the long-pending promotion process for principals and vice-principals, ensuring timely CAS benefits for faculty members, and implementing the UGC Regulations 2018 in the state. Under these regulations, for the first time, more than 1,500 teachers in Rajasthan's colleges were promoted to the professor rank.

#### Colleagues' Remarks

Dr. Vivek Mishra, while conducting the program, said that they all extend their best wishes to Professor Mohammad Naim for his future endeavors. His absence will definitely be felt, but the high standards he set, his work style, and his teachings will always remain with them. 

Other colleagues highlighted Professor Naim's educational and administrative achievements and contributions, sharing their feelings and reminiscing the time spent with him.

#### Professor Naim's Address

In his address, Professor Naim shared important aspects of his government service journey and expressed gratitude towards the institution, colleagues, and students. He said, "This journey in the field of education has been unique, and I am proud to have worked as part of this prestigious and largest college in the Kota division and to have had the opportunity to work for the interests of the department's officers and employees while holding the highest policy-making position as Joint Secretary (Group 3) in the Higher Education Department. It is an honor for me that for the first time, a teacher was entrusted with such a policy-making position."

#### Farewell Gifts

At the end of the ceremony, Professor Naim was presented with mementos and certificates of appreciation. Everyone wished him a bright future and prayed for his healthy and happy life.

The event was attended by Dr. Sanjay Bhargava, former Principal of Government JDB College, Kota, Professor Raghuraj Parihar, former Regional Assistant Director, Professor Ajay Vikram Singh, Principal of Government JDB College, Kota, Professor Seema Chauhan, Principal of Government Girls Arts College, Kota, Professor Nusrat Fatima, Assistant Professor Ali Raza, Dr. Amitava Basu, Professor Vivek Mishra, Professor Manoj Verma, Accounts Officer Haroon Khan, and all students of the Urdu Department, who congratulated and extended their best wishes to Professor Naim. Dr. Mahavir Sahu gave the vote of thanks.
