Congress Leaders Organize Tree Plantation Drive

Kota – As part of the "Vriksh Daan Mahadaan" (Tree Donation is the Greatest Donation) initiative, the National Congress Worker Committee's state president, Abid Khan, and state general secretary, Shabnam Ansari, led a tree plantation program at various locations today. Abid Khan highlighted that Kota is already experiencing extreme heat, with temperatures reaching up to 53 degrees Celsius. In response to this situation, a commitment has been made to plant and protect 200 trees in Kota from July 15 to August 15.

Shabnam Ansari urged all women and homemakers in Rajasthan to plant at least one tree outside their homes. The event saw participation from Kota District Secretary Nitin Gautam, who celebrated by cutting a cake and offering sweets to Abid Khan and all the participants. The program included the efforts of Nitin Gautam, Amresh Pal, Naseem Begum, Saif Ali Ansari, Lal Singh, and other workers.
