IFLA Wall of Famed Dr. Deepak Kumar Shrivastava Head and Divisional Librarian Government Divisional Public Library Kota Rajasthan India Virtually addressed to 2nd International African Conference as a Keynote Speaker on the theme “New Normal and 21st Century Information Management”. This 2nd International Conference is jointly organised by Llibrary and Information Sensitization Forum of Nigeria (LISFEN) and Department of Library and Information Science, Federal University Dustin-Ma, Nigeria.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that Covid-19, the biggest tragedy of the century, has given new experiences and new direction to library and information science, for example, in South Africa, through curb-side pickup services, readers living in remote places provided exchange service. It is noteworthy that curb-side pickup services are mainly provided by food services such as Zomato, Swiggy. In this way, the decisions taken during Covid are now being replaced in the form of innovation and new records are being established in the library world. Similarly, "Shape Memory Alloy Technology" has taken the initiative to increase social inclusion and equality by bringing “Dot Book” laptops for the visually impaired.
