#Restart Jal Jeevan Mission Projects Promptly: District Collector Poswal

**Udaipur,  A review meeting of the Jal Jeevan Mission was held on Friday in the mini auditorium of the district collectorate, chaired by District Collector Arvind Kumar Poswal. The focus was on expediting the household tap connections (FHTC) targets for the current fiscal year and improving the district's ranking.

Collector Poswal instructed to swiftly achieve the set targets and enhance the district’s ranking. He also assessed the physical progress of the JJM projects and inquired about the availability of drinking water in schools and anganwadis. He emphasized the immediate restart and completion of halted and pending projects, and directed that notices be issued to contractors for any unjustified delays.

PHED Executive Engineer Lalit Kumar Nagauri reported that out of the target of 28,098 FHTC connections for the first quarter of the current fiscal year, 15,188 connections have been provided. Efforts are being intensified to achieve the remaining targets and improve the district's ranking.

The meeting was attended by Zilla Parishad ACEO Anjum Tahir Summa, PHED XEN Lal Singh Meena, AVVNL XEN I.M. Mansuri, Zilla Parishad AEN Ashish Dhakad, ASO Meena Dashora, and other officials from various departments.
