Bhogilal Pandya played an essential role in the freedom movement 

Udaipur. Vagad Gandhi, freedom fighter and late Shri Bhogilal Pandya, honored with Padma Bhushan, had played a significant role in the freedom movement in the tribal-dominated Vagad and Mewar region of South Rajasthan, taking tribal and all society together.
 The above idea was given by Lakshminarayan Pandya, a member of Rajasthan Scheduled Tribes Counseling Datri Council (TAC), Tribal Development Department, Government of Rajasthan and former zila pramukh, in a seminar organized on the death anniversary at Gayatri Auditorium, Hiran Magri, Udaipur. Expressed. He said that along with the freedom movement, Vagad Gandhi Pandya 
conducted many education programs, social reform, and self-reliance in this tribal area through Rajasthan Seva Sangh and other social organizations.
 In the seminar, Dr. Shailendra Pandya, Director of Gayatri Sansthan, Udaipur, Dr. Rohan Bhatt Banswara, Subhash Joshi Dungarpur, Anjali Bhatnagar, and Champalal Meena also expressed their views.
