Udaipur – A district-level ceremony for the distribution of land titles to nomadic and semi-nomadic families was held on Wednesday at the Din Dayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the Town Hall of the Udaipur Municipal Corporation.
The event was attended by Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasiya and District Collector Arvind Poswal. During the program, District Chief Mamta Kunwar Pawar emphasized the government's intent to provide essential services in rural areas and promote women's self-reliance. She stated that due to the policies of the central and state governments, the country is advancing rapidly.
Udaylal Dangi, the MLA from Vallabhnagar, noted that providing homes to the homeless is a primary objective of both the central and state governments. Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena added that the state government has undertaken the noble task of providing residential titles to those who have been wandering for years.
During his welcome address, District Council CEO Hemendra Nagar announced that nearly 350 beneficiaries from Udaipur and Salumber districts received their land titles. He assured that more titles would soon be distributed to other beneficiaries in line with the state government's objectives.
The ceremony also honored employees who made significant contributions to the "Cleanliness is Service" campaign. Present at the event were social worker Ravindra Shrimali, Chandragupt Singh Chauhan, CEO Hemendra Nagar, Assistant CEO Anjum Tahir, various officials and employees from the Panchayat Samitis, and beneficiaries from 14 Panchayat Samitis in Udaipur district and 6 in Salumber district.
