President Honors Indian Lacrosse Team Captain Sunita Meena

Udaipur : Sunita Meena, captain of the Indian lacrosse team that won a silver medal at the Asian Lacrosse Championship, was honored with the Adi Ratna Gaurav Award by President Droupadi Murmu. The President met with the medal-winning athletes and coach Neeraj Batra to learn more about the sport of lacrosse and its equipment. Rajasthan's Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma also praised Sunita and the other lacrosse players and coach Neeraj Batra for their achievements.
