Udaipur Congress Demands Better Medical Facilities Amid Rising Seasonal Illnesses

Udaipur: The Udaipur Rural and Urban District Congress Committees submitted a memorandum to the District Collector, urging better medical facilities for those affected by seasonal illnesses, including dengue, malaria, and chikungunya.

Spokesperson Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit of Udaipur Rural District Congress noted that due to recent weather changes, the district has seen a rise in seasonal diseases, leaving the local population distressed. Reports of dengue, malaria, and chikungunya patients being hospitalized have become frequent, causing concern among residents.

In this context, Udaipur Rural District Congress President Kacharu Lal Chaudhary and Udaipur Urban District Congress President Fateh Singh Rathore met with the District Collector to demand improved medical facilities for affected individuals and to initiate daily fogging in Udaipur city and surrounding villages.

After submitting the memorandum, Kacharu Lal Chaudhary and Fateh Singh Rathore addressed the media, stating that the increase in seasonal illnesses, along with the peak of dengue, malaria, and chikungunya cases, has created a serious situation in Udaipur. The district currently has the highest number of affected individuals in Rajasthan, with nearly every family in Udaipur city likely to have been impacted by these diseases.

They emphasized that the number of affected individuals is also rising in the peri-urban villages. The current administrative measures are proving insufficient, prompting the Congress committees to demand that the District Collector implement daily fogging in both Udaipur city and the surrounding villages. Additionally, they requested that all public and private hospitals in the district provide better treatment options for those affected by these illnesses, ensuring timely relief for the residents of Udaipur.

The memorandum was submitted by Udaipur Rural District Congress President Kacharu Lal Chaudhary, Udaipur Urban District Congress President Fateh Singh Rathore, State Congress Secretary Suresh Shrimali, Udaipur Rural District Congress Secretary Bhupendra Chauhan, Spokesperson Dr. Sanjeev Rajpurohit, and Dinesh Audichya from the Rural District Congress.
