Udaipur. Awarded the National Child Award by the Government of India and a Limca Book and Book of World Records holder, Magician Aanchal will perform a thrilling and dangerous 'Adventure with Fire' show on December 23 at Gandhi Ground at 5 PM. The event is free for all to attend.
Providing more details about the event, Magician Aanchal explained that there is increasing mental stress among students and parents due to academic pressure, leading many students into depression and, at times, to life-threatening decisions like suicide. In light of this, Aanchal will perform this daring and adventurous act under her 'Break the Depression' campaign.
Aanchal mentioned that she will perform with a 150-foot-long iron chain weighing 80 kg, locked with 131 padlocks, and has already obtained permission from the authorities. This will be her third such event. Previously, she has conducted similar shows in Maharashtra and Uttarakhand. She is the first female magician in the world to organize such an event and has performed over 14,500 shows so far.
Aanchal also shared her plans to open a magic school in Udaipur in the future to help the younger generation pursue a career in this art. She emphasized the need to preserve the magical arts.
Aanchal acknowledged the rising suicide rates among students in Kota and surrounding areas due to academic pressure and expressed the importance of addressing this issue in every village and district of Rajasthan. She believes that events like these can help protect students from falling into such dire situations.
Event coordinator and youth social worker Dr. Jitendra Shastri stated that suicide is not the final chapter of life, as humans are born after 84 lakh reincarnations. He added that this event is dedicated to the people of Mewar, aimed at enhancing enthusiasm, entertainment, and self-confidence.
The event is being organized with the objective of raising awareness among the public and students, encouraging them to face any challenges in life head-on and never give up, regardless of the difficulties they may encounter.
