Grand Inauguration of Two-Day Sports Festival at Mewar B.Sc. Nursing College

Udaipur: A grand two-day sports festival was inaugurated on Friday at the RCA Ground by Mewar B.Sc. Nursing College, Udaipur. The event featured various sports competitions in which all the students of the college actively participated.

The program began with the lighting of the lamp by the college director, Pankaj Kumar Sharma, who formally inaugurated the sports festival by cutting the ribbon. He encouraged the students to participate in the games with a spirit of sportsmanship. Pankaj Kumar Sharma, a former outstanding badminton player, shared his personal experiences, emphasizing that sports are not only crucial for physical fitness but also enhance discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence.

College directors Dinesh Rajpurohit, Abdul Salam Khan, and Kailash Salvi also motivated the students and encouraged them to perform excellently in the games. The Principal of the college, Dr. Sandeep Garg, highlighted the importance of sports and encouraged students to participate actively.

On the first day, exciting games like cricket, kabaddi, volleyball, jalebi race, rangoli competition, and spoon race were held. The students participated with great enthusiasm and energy in these competitions.

The objective of this two-day sports festival was not only to keep students physically active but also to develop teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive competitive spirit. Throughout the event, the students displayed remarkable enthusiasm and energy.
