Eco Destination Tour from July 21, New Treks to be Explored

 


The Forest Department has launched this year's eco-tourism program to promote eco-tourism. Tourists will be taken on tours of the famous eco-tourism sites in southern Rajasthan. Deputy Conservator of Forests, Mr. D.K. Tiwari, informed that the program will start on July 21 with visits to Ranakpur and Jawai Dam. Registration is required in advance for the forest tour, and vehicles will depart from the Forest Building at Chetak Circle on Sunday mornings as scheduled.


The program includes treks to Katthawali Jher and the scenic spots of the Vakal River in Panarwa Forest area of Phulwari ki Naal Sanctuary, Gormaghat and Bhilberi Waterfall in Rawali Todgarh Sanctuary, Rampura Trek and Jakham Dam in Bassi Wildlife Sanctuary and Sitamata Sanctuary, Jhoomar Bawdi and Baghdara Crocodile in Jaisamand Sanctuary, and Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary. For Ranakpur and Jawai, leopard safari rates have also been fixed, which include transport by air-conditioned vehicles, tea and snacks, lunch, sanctuary entry fees, toll tax, eco-guide charges, and eco-site cleanliness charges.
