Akshay Lokjan Celebrates Tiranga Diwas*

Udaipur,Akshay Lokjan celebrated the historic "Tiranga Diwas" of Indian independence today, calling on citizens to elevate its glory to the highest peak. The institution's president, Professor Vimal Sharma, explained that it was on July 22, 1947, that the Indian Constituent Assembly approved and adopted the tricolor as the national flag, which was subsequently hoisted for the first time on August 15.

The design of the Indian tricolor was created by Pingali Venkayya, featuring three horizontal stripes: saffron on top, white in the middle, and green at the bottom. In the center is a navy blue wheel with twenty-four spokes.

On this occasion, a 75-foot-long micro-strip created by Chandra Prakash Chittora was showcased. This strip, illustrating the importance of the flag, features a pictorial representation of the national flags of 246 countries.

On Tiranga Diwas, President Professor Vimal Sharma, General Secretary Jaikishan Chaubey, Rajmal Chaudhary, Chandra Prakash Chittora, and Manohar Lal Mundra shared their thoughts.
