Rescue Mission for Helpless, Destitute, and Disabled Individuals Launched

A special rescue mission aimed at serving the helpless, destitute, and disabled individuals was inaugurated on Monday at Apna Ghar Ashram, Bedla. Rajsamand MLA Mrs. Deepti Kiran Maheshwari flagged off four ambulances during the event, which was organized under the joint initiative of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment and Apna Ghar Ashram Udaipur (Headquarters Bharatpur). Bedla Sarpanch Mrs. Nirmala Prajapat and campaign in-charge Shailendra Tyagi were also present. Two ambulances were dispatched to Banswara, and two to Udaipur district for rescue operations.  

Mrs. Maheshwari visited the ashram and inquired about the condition of the residents. She praised the service work being conducted by Apna Ghar Ashram, calling it a noble example of humanitarian service. Attendees at the event included Ashram President Suresh Vijayvargiya, Secretary Gopal Kaneria, Finance Secretary Rajesh Garg, social worker Banshilal Kumhar, Naresh Prajapat, Mrs. Alpana Garg, and Mohansingh Rathore.

Secretary Gopal Kaneria shared that on the first day of the rescue mission, five men and two women were rescued and brought to Apna Ghar Ashram Udaipur for care, treatment, and rehabilitation. The campaign will run until 18th October across Udaipur, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, Salumber, Banswara, Dungarpur, and Pratapgarh districts.
