*Udaipur:* St. Gregorios C.S. School emerged as the undisputed champions in the 67th district-level sports competitions, showcasing outstanding performances across various age categories in both boys' and girls' events.
Principal Shubha Jos revealed that the school's talented athletes secured gold medals and clinched the district championship in boys' netball (14 years, 17 years, 19 years) and girls' netball (17 years), while settling for silver in girls' 17 years netball. In archery, boy prodigy Navedya Nagda secured double gold along with the championship title in the 17 years category. The girls' karate team (17 years) earned gold medals in different weight categories and claimed the individual championship.
In the boxing arena, Samir Singh excelled in the 19 years boys' category, securing a gold medal and the championship title, adding to the school's glory. In other events, Krishna Chauhan earned a silver in boys' 17 years wrestling, while the girls' 17 years basketball and volleyball teams also performed admirably, securing silver medals.
Judo witnessed Anishka Daya and Lakshita Sahu in girls' 14 years category and Saumya Giri Goswami in boys' 14 years category clinching bronze medals. Swimming saw Laxit Naynaava triumph in the 19 years boys' 50-meter breaststroke, and in badminton, Kavish Singhvi secured a bronze in the boys' 17 years category. The chess team, too, made their presence felt with a commendable performance, securing a bronze medal in the 17 years category.
School Manager Fodor Jos Chemman, members of the School Management Committee, Principal, and Vice-Principal in charge, Anil Goswami, expressed their delight and congratulated the athletes on their remarkable achievements.
