Nine Cases Resolved in Victims Compensation Scheme Meeting

In Udaipur, under the chairmanship of District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Chanchal Mishra, a meeting regarding the Victims Compensation Scheme was organized with the oversight of the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority Secretary in Jaipur. The meeting saw the participation of Justice Gopal Bijorival, Justice Manish Agrawal, Chief Judicial Magistrate Ankush Bhadoriya, Additional District Magistrate City Rajeev Dwivedi, Bar Association President Bharat Joshi, Government Spokesperson Kapil Todawat, and a representative of the District Police Superintendent.

Kuldeep Sharma, the Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, stated that separate amounts were approved to provide financial security to the relatives and dependents of victims, which were directed to be deposited into their savings accounts and for FDRs. Compensation amounts under the Victim Compensation Scheme are provided to the victims and their dependents in cases of rape, murder, acid attacks, and instances of poaching.
