Udaipur. At the 68th District-Level School Karate Competition held at Prajapati Samaj Bhavan, Bedla, organized by Prerna Public School, 75 children from The Zeal Martial Arts Academy participated, representing their respective schools.
Director of The Zeal Martial Arts Academy, Renshi Harish Sawariya, reported that schools such as St. Mary’s School Fatehpur, St. Mary’s School Titaradi, Guru Nanak School Sector 4, Delhi Public School (DPS), Rockwood School, Alok School Fatehpur, MDS School, Central Academy, St. Anthony's, The Scholars Arena, Maharana Mewar Public School, Step by Step School, St. Paul’s School, and Vardan Public School took part in the competition.
The athletes from The Zeal Martial Arts Academy excelled in the Under-17 and Under-19 categories, winning a total of 51 medals, including 20 gold, 14 silver, and 17 bronze. Additionally, they earned 2 silver and 1 bronze medal in the Wushu competition, along with 1 silver medal in the Taekwondo competition. All gold medal winners are representing Udaipur at the state-level karate competition in Jaipur, running until September 23.
