Udaipur: A debate competition was organized today at S.S. College of Education, located on Jhamar Kotda Road, Umrad, under the auspices of Swami Sharanam Educational Institute. The topic of the debate was "Is Inclusive Education Necessary?"
Director Subhash Rajak informed that the competition featured participants advocating for and against the topic. The proponent team included Khushi, Ganga, Neha, Maya Singh, and Neelu Chauhan, while the opposing team consisted of Maya Jat, Chetanya, Tanushree, Bhavana, and Morantika.
The judges for the competition were Professor Purnesh Kothari and Professor Payal Paneri from the college. In her presidential address, Principal Dr. Purnima Narainia emphasized that the environment, circumstances, and individual personalities determine the necessity of providing inclusive education to individuals from different backgrounds.
Maya Singh secured the first position, Neelu Chauhan came in second, and Chetanya placed third in the competition. The event was conducted by student teachers Shalini Soni and Vimla Kumari. The program was attended by Mrs. Heena Jain, Mrs. Ranjana Bhatnagar, Dr. Komal Kataria, Dr. Meeta Joshi, and Shiv Prasann Singh.
