Guru Vandana and Student Appreciation Program Concluded

Honoring the Guru: A Noble Tradition

the Bharat Vikas Parishad "Subhash" branch organized a special program at Mahatma Gandhi Government School in Sundarwas, Udaipur, to honor the teachers. All teachers present were welcomed by students who performed tilak, draped them in ceremonial scarves, and offered coconuts to seek their blessings. The students touched the feet of their teachers, who then blessed them by placing their hands on their heads.

Outstanding students were recognized for their achievements: Jyoti Kumari for academic excellence, Chhavi Kumari for sports, and Shubham Lohar as the all-rounder for participating in all school activities. They were honored with scarves, certificates, and mementos by the parishad.

Dr. Nagendra Prasad Sharma, the provincial contact in charge, explained the significance of the program, stating that our first guru is our mother, as she is the creator. Teachers in school are our gurus, and the purpose of this event is to keep the guru-shishya tradition alive.

The program was coordinated by water conservationist Dr. P.C. Jain, with attendance from branch members Narendra Ranka, Shobha Lal Dashora, G.C. Sharma, and Paras Khurdia.

Principal Ashutosh Tuli expressed gratitude to the parishad, and special thanks were given to teachers Mrs. Indira Kanwar and Sandeep Saganeria for their support. Advocate Rishabh Jain and R.L. Jain served as secretaries for the event.
